Day Skies Planetarium Program, April 21, 2025
As International Dark Sky Week begins on April 21, 2025, join us in the planetarium as we learn about light pollution and how it affects the night sky. In this free program we will tour our night sky locating the major celestial objects that are currently visible. Along the way we will discuss how light pollution affects our ability to see these objects and the steps that we can all take to minimize our contribution to the light pollution around us. Join us as we explore our Dark Skies!

Community Education Members,
Over the past 30 years, the North Penn Community Education Program has changed with the times.
Offering different types of courses to our adult community, adding on-line registration and payments, all while offering classes our community is interested in, at the best fee available. Effective March 17, 2025, you will see the following information when signing up for a class with Community Education.
Effective March 17, 2025, on-line registration will now include a 3% service fee to cover the increased cost of credit card payments. Cash, check or money order will NOT have a 3% surcharge.
There are two options when paying for classes/camps - Pay Now or Pay Later.
Pay Now - Registrations will incur the 3% credit card fee.
Pay Later - Payment will need to be completed within 7 days
mailed with a check payable to NP Community Education Program, money order (address below) or
brought into the office with exact cash, check or money order to finalize the registration (and not incur the additional 3% fee.)
North Penn School District Educational Services Center
401 E. Hancock Street Lansdale, PA 19446
We want to keep fees as low as possible, yet allow those who want to use a credit card the opportunity to do so. All registrations (except gold card) can be done on-line, but if you want to avoid the credit card convenience fee, please select “Pay Later” and mail in a check, money order or come in and pay by exact cash, check or money order. Thank you.
